Shopping online means you can't try it on first. We get that. If something doesn't work, we'll make it right.

We'd rather get you the right thing than give you your money back. If you need a different size or color, start an exchange and we'll get the right one out to you.
How to start a return or exchange:

Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method. You'll get a confirmation email when it's done.

The small Blackwing Slate is an A6 hardcover notebook (105 x 148 mm, or half the size of our Medium Slate) that can fit comfortably in your pocket. It features 160 pages of 100 GSM ivory paper that is perfect for graphite or ink.
Every Slate notebook features our signature lay-flat binding, matte cover, and pencil holster that comes loaded with a Blackwing pencil. The Small Slate is available in black, white, or grey, and with dot-grid, blank, or ruled paper.
