Yeah, this sucks.
Our 12-year-old, Nowell, says this a lot. Aside from my dislike of the inappropriate language, I admit I have to agree with him.
It’s been four months since the ‘world stopped’ and doesn’t look to really be getting better.
I’m sick of it.
You are sick of it.
To bring a little levity, I thought I might share a few of the items I think might fit the mood well.
Ok, in true The Simple Man style, I can’t live in the wallowing. There has been some good that’s happened in the last few months. It is all about perspective.
I’ve gotten really savvy at managing our online store.
Teddy has gotten more snuggles and walks than ever before.
Our family has spent a lot of time together: game nights, home-cooked meals, time outdoors tubing and fishing, and nights watching more sunsets and stars.
In trying times, if you can, please keep trying to find the good and the blessings. There are many out there.
So, let’s shift and share some inspirational and fun items to fit the better mood.
You know, come to think of it, there is another thing my son Nowell always says (Usually when something breaks or isn’t working well): “It’s fine, Dad. It’s gonna be fine”.
He’s probably right.
